nothing special. it's good but doen't have a "body". tried once , not going to second time .
Nose: oak and baking spices. Palate: Very smooth, oak and spices, but less than on the nose. Easy to sip. Not heavily flavorful.
I'm really enjoying this one. Very smooth and a slight oak on the back in.
Nice sipping rum. The bottle is also a nice addition to my collection.
The nose is strong, white oak, grapefruit and other citrus fruits, elderberry flowers, notes of dark chocolate, and a hint of tobacco. The taste starts with mildly sweet citrus fruits, pineaple, honey, ends with white oak, pleasantly fills the mouth with its bitter-sweet magic. The aftertaste is lasting spicy-bitter grapefruit and other citruses, with woody end. All and all, it is quite similar to its younger brother 7y, with deeper and fuller body and more wood in it. Real pleasure to drink and well worth the money, pricewise on-par with Plantation 20th Anniversary, which by the way cannot hold a candle to this well crafted rum without additives.
Nose: Like sticking your nose in a bag of brown sugar, with notes of cherry and oak
Palate: Same as the nose
Tail: Sticks to the tongue with the same flavor
It’s tasty, but doesn’t have much development and is a bit one note. I’d gladly sip it but it’s not next level.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Did not get the flavour, but could be just not my style. Burnt my throat, felt a bit like rum agricole.
