Not a great nose, little sour with almost a tar overtone. Interesting taste, mostly grassy but also some spice. Sour smell continues to the taste as well, but not as pronounced as expected. Long almost tingly finish that is definitely interesting. Not especially to my taste, but surely unique. Overall just not to my palette, but unique and transforming taste over finish. Probably not worth the high price, but if you can have a tasting I would suggest indulging.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Beautiful golden mahogany in the glass.
On the nose, vanilla and dried fruits meet very subtle toasted and smoked wood.
On the palate, little flat for a Jamaican rum at first. For this, it is well balanced and supple, elegant dark chocolate and vanilla with candied dried fruits.
In the finish, which I find on this rum the best, the fragrances and aromas reflect in a subtle sweetness.
A solid rum, which is also very suitable for beginners, if not the high price would be.
I prefer the somewhat "wilder" 12 year old "Cigar".
