Sugar: Estimated at 15-20 GPL. I thought the Eximo was a good rum, and better than anything else in the Bacardi stable, but this one is a step up from the Eximo. Chestnut-Mahogony in colour and very smooth on the palate. I am certain this was aged in Sherry or Port barrels as I detect a sweetness that is not artificial and an aroma that is very rich. A bit of oak and spice in the taste along with dried fruit. At first I thought it was a bit thin as it went down so smooth, several more samples and then the follow up taste and burn comes through. A very well balanced rum. It comes in an attractive bottle and is quite heavy, so there's no chance of knocking it over and causing spillage. At $100 per bottle it's a bit pricey, but overall worth purchasing at least once.
This is a very nice sipping rum. I donβt drink it often as a have so many others to drink and this one is harder to find so I cherish it but itβs a great rum for any oneβs collection.
Never in a million years had I expected Bacardi to produce anything this expensive, but hey, it turns out they have a whole range of premium rums. Balls deep into a rum tasting evening, this 25ml tube was saved until last. Whereas most rums from the tasting sets were average, or just above, this was in a class of its own. Incredibly smooth, just really, really nice. Finishes with a sort of heavenly toffee taste. If this was anywhere near favourably priced, I definitely would, however it retails at β¬150 for 70cl in the Netherlands. Such a shame, still, a solid 9/10.
This rum is the best of all 4 Don facundo line. Great sipper whether neat, a few drops of water or with one ice cube
Really good rum for sipping but little bit higher price in this category
Got to sample this rum and immediately added it to my want list. A great nose this rum invites you in with hints of vanilla and spices. Full bodied on the tongue with just a bit a alcohol burn. Found this to be very enjoyable and hope to find it my local liquor store.
Very strong chemical smell at first, but once you let it breathe, it was a decent $70CAD bottle of rum... but for the actual cost of $300CAD, there are lots of other rums I'd rather...
A fairly sweet and quite woody spirit.
"Has touches of white grape and some chewy toffee but its mostly just a slightly sugary spirit with a decent hit of oak spice thrown in. The finish is fairly long."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Very smooth. Slightly sweet. Nice aroma. Well balanced. Tremendous rum for sipping.
