This is a perfect rum. Iβm not sure if it has additives, but this rum has a lot of the same flavours as gunpowder proof only just so much more delicious. Cinnamon, chocolate, tobacco, and gingerbread flavors make this a fantastic choice, even for the steep price.
Lovely smooth easy drinking rum. Has the district Pusserβs flavor. Would have liked it to be a stronger rum.
Very nice, iβve got a bottle of this as a birthday present from a very dear friend, my best friend we sampled this and it was a very nice aged rum. You can definitely taste the oak barrel. This Hass to be one of my favorites of the Pusserβs rum
Taste is a bit more bold with a touch dirty notes-complex than El Dorado 15, it is also bit less sweet, flavour profile goes in direction of El Dorado 21 but not that rich but also not far away. I recommend it for medium to advanced drinkers...
An almost malty note to it.
"The mid palate leads into coffee and cinnamon like Christmas cake in a bottle. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Heavy molasses on the nose, with cocoa and dried fruits, on the palate I can feel bitter-sweet molasses, dried fruits, spices, the aftertaste is long, spicy, turning into bitter blackstrap molasses ending, with a touch of salt. The overall feeling is - solid rum, but too simple - too much of bitter molasses and not enough of anything else. I can barely smell any wood in the emptied glass which is really a surprise for 15 years old rum. Expected more for this kind of money, it is not a big step up from Pussers Blue or Gunpowder. Maybe a bad batch? Had such a bad batch of Pusser's Blue year ago, where bitter blackstrap molasses killed anything else, totally different from standard Pusser's Blue which I like a lot.
