Ochutnán vzorek
Za tu cenu velmi povedená záležitost.
Pretty similar to the Plantation 5 year (from memory) but definitely slightly sweeter. Best described as like a blonde beer version of it.
Body na horu za cenu. Lahev jsem neporidil, ale vzorek se mi pil dobre. Na nose stavnate ovoce, na chuti trochu ridsi.
Nothing special, but just standart plantation. For this price Zou could try better rum.
Tasted on 4/6/22 at Laka Lono and I am super excited to discover these notes the day before Easter 2023.
Quoting from my passport,
This rum is so fragrant! This is delicious and would be perfect for sipping on Easter, thanks to the on-theme flavors (caramel, coconut, etc)
Edit, revisiting this rum at Mitch w Amaro during Lei Away in North KC September 1 2023
Appearance: golden
Aroma: hmmm gluelike, this smells like a strong epoxy 😂
Flavor: grass, funk, a grunge mermaid 🧜♀️ could show up at any moment ❤️ Something I find interesting about this rum is that tail end of each sip turns sweet. Like a lil rainbow of hope 🌈
I'm going to keep the 10/10 rating
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I had heard solid things of this rum prior to purchasing so I was eager to give it a try. I am a fan of all the plantation rums I have tried so I was hopeful. Pouring a glass off the bat, it had quite a strong alcohol smell with no real distinct notes. However once sipped, it did not have a strong alcohol taste or burn like I was expecting. In fact it was very smooth for this price tier of rum and had a pleasant hint of fruity notes. The rum is very light in the mouth and is quite refreshing compared to some other rums I have tried but without feeling "cheap" if that makes sense. Overall this is a solid bottle for a solid price.
