Actually pretty darned good. Loads of vanilla, to the point where that's all I tasted in first sitting. There's also some licorice undertones and it's almost too sweet.
It really tastes more like a cordial or a cocktail than a rum, which means it works fine as a standalone with an ice cube or neat.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

They packed this rum with every spice in the spice cabinet, then added 3 1/2 cups of Karo syrup to each bottle. The consistency is even thicker than most rums. Good for attracting and killing ants, but it would for sure kill any drink you mix it with. Flavors too strong to mix and too sweet to sip.
