The first nose is light, immediate hints of vanilla and the alcohol is not overpowering. The second nose picks up what I believe is brown sugar.
The first sip begins with vanilla and the oak barrel it was aged in. The second sip is more pronounced with vanilla, Carmel, oak and hints of spice. The finish on this rum is long. This is a sipping rum, on the rocks cools it off and makes it better. I’d hate to put coke in this, but an inexperienced palette may not be able to handle this without a backer.
