Beru ho jako startovací rum pro porovnávání. Dobře pitelný na víkendové akce.
After trying many types of CM-rum, I think this is the best. It’s one of my favourites, but not the all time best rum that I have tasted.
Helt klart en positiv överraskning. Härlig sötma.Lätt drucken
Better marinades are available for less expense. Would not even recommend as a mixer.
Comparing this to the original Captain, it is better but not by much. It is very sweet and it does have some vanilla and spices, but that’s about all. I won’t drink it straight and if I’m in the mood for a high end rum and coke I’ll drink it, but that’s really it.
Never really tried this Rum until about a year ago and it for sure is a go to for me. When I think of Captain Morgan I think of the commercialized version which is not a real representation. This is more like what I would call Rum. Hints of Vanilla and Caramel . A great addition to the liquor cabinet. You wont feel ashamed bringing this one out.
Even if that rum is maybe more a liquor than a real rum, its worth the price. Good enough to sip, but better in a Cuba libre.
Growing up, Capt'n -N- Coke was kind of a family favorite drink. I discovered this version a few years ago and haven't had a bottle of classic Capt'n since. While I've come to love many other rums, I will always keep a place in my heart, and my cabinet, for this classic. As always, I prefer my rum over ice with a healthy splash of Coke.
The medium mahogany colour looks like a fine aged rum but this would be wrong. Vanilla and brown sugar are what this rum is all about. It mixes with coke fine and can even be sipped but again, not much of an aged rum.
Captain Morgan was actually a 17th century Welsh pirate...

I was hoping for a Puerto Rican rum to mix Zombies with but this unpalatably sweet and spiced rum is not fit for drinking.
