Rum gift?
Goodevening people,
I'm new here and I'm hoping you can shed some light on my rum that I've gotten as a gift. I'm going on a weekendbreak with my parents-in law and I'm gonna bring this along. My father in law told me this bottle wasn't cheap but I've got no idea. My intention is to mix this rum with some other things. But if my father in law is right then mixing it would be horrendous haha.
Here in the USA you can find it for less than $20.00/750ml, but up to several hundred dollars. I'm assuming it is all the same stuff, not sure! Based on what I found, I'd say it is an average $40-50.00USD bottle, so it's not seemingly expensive.
Not sure about your locale. You can read reviews about it right here on the site. Not very highly rated. I'd say mix it and don't feel bad about it, but that's just me. I'd try it neat at least once, just see what you think!
Yeah. Seems to be a $20-ish 3-year old rum.

Just don't tell him you're mixing it, also if you must drink bacardi upgrade to their facundo line (which is made in barbados so is it really bacardi?...semantics).
