Alternative to Kirk and Sweeney 23?

DearAlas. I have to agree with you. My journey has been centered on tasting higher rated rums in general as at my age life's too short.  And yes. zafra master 30 and Centario Real and 30, are among myfavorites. I tasted several Kirk and Sweeney and moved on. Cheers to all on their journey.

kirk sweeny being $50 and selva reserve being $150 I'd offer up zafra 30 for everyone being $200 and one of the best premium rums out there.  

but to answer the question, brugal 1888 would be similar in price/origen try also Botran 18 (I dislike all of these as well as kirk and sweeny and pretty much dont like any dominican rum except diplomatico white, but hope that helps)

Based on this website, any of the Reservas are poor alternatives to the former, aged bottles.
