Parce 12 year or E. Leon Jimenes 110th anniversary rum
I have the Parce 12 and I think it’s a delicious rum. However, I’ve been seeing the E. Jimenes rum on the shelf and it looks interesting but I’m wondering is it really worth $30 more in price. Interestingly enough, the E. Jimenes rum is partially owned Karl Malone(the retired NBA player). In your opinion, which one is better?
I cannot compare this rum from the Dominican Republic to the Parce 12 from Panama, but this R Leon Jimenes 110th Anniversary rum is now a damn good repeat buy for me. I now pay $80-$87 US per bottle. Anything more is just a rip off. I have seen prices as high as $135 US.

Thanks man. Parce 12 year is a Colombian rum. Judging from your cabinet, Colombian rum seems to be your favorite. You should try it some day. I got it from Spec’s in Texas.
RumGuy1:
Spec's is about 400 miles to my west and I no longer drive that way. I used to make it a habit to stop at their Beaumont store, although the selection in that one is not as good as the ones in Houston. Those were the days when I had geographically undesirable girlfriends.
St. Lucia has passed up Colombia as my top rum producer.
