What other agricole rums will i like?

I very recently fetched myself a bottle of Rhum J.M. XO and am completely enamored with it! I already cast a glimpse upon that other discussion, for "rums with no sugar added" and noticed the agricole post... But i thought to ask about specifically. Would prefer aged stuff, as well as premium and noteworthy, but i wouldn't say no to more common entries, provided that they are great sport... So, just recommend to me a special agricole bottle that will set me up nicely, please! After all, variety is the spice of life! No sugar, unadultered, preferrably old, special bottle (not limited release)!

About Saint James 12 or 15, I would say the 12 is smoother and a better value for money. Saint James l’Essential, J.M Cuvée 1845 & Clement XO (the old bottle with the extra ordinary blend, see picture) are all three excellent Agricole. The Saint James is more or less for sale every week at Catawiki with a possibility to get a better price.

Pirate. As vomi says they all reccomendable but of those three I would personally choose Saint james 15. Unfortunately it have had a bit of a price bump the past years. But it’s very tasty.

Wow, many interesting suggestions! My budget is a little low right now, so i got caught up in a tight spot. Also, local retailers have very few of those brands; from my last visit in the most diverse store of the city, it had only Clement, Saint James and J.M. Speaking of which, is Saint James 15 a good choice? Stefan here suggested the "12" and the "essential" and i remember seeing 15 in one of those lists, of the "best 10/20 of 2020" type... Is Clement XO good? Are the J.M. Cuvee de Fondateur and J.M. cuvee 1845 worth the price and effort to get?

Hi Pirate! As Rene wrote is the J.M XO an excellent entry to to the Agricole world. Another Martinique Rhum that can compete with that one is La Mauny XO. Some other Martinique Rhum I can recommend is: Depaz Cuvée Prestige Depaz Grande Réserve XO (White label) HSE XO J.M 1845 St James 12yo St James l’Essential From Marie Galante I can recommend Bielle from where I so far have tasted the best white Agricole, Bielle 59. Another one from MG is the brand Habitation Bellevue’s 1821 series. My bottles of that one is still unopened, but after what I’ve heard it should be great. From Guadeloupe, which is my favorite Agricole district, I can recommend everything from the brands Montebello and ReimonenQ and besides them I can recommend Bologne XO and Longueteau XO.
