No sugar added

I think that St. Lucia 1931 is also of the no sugar added category (with the exception of a few annual released ones, from the numbered series). Mostly the No81/2012 and the Chairman's Reserve standardized structure from 2018 onwards. Great stuff to drink and also, a collector's item by now.

Also agricole rhum from the french Speaking Islands never have added sugar, unless used in a punch fx. This is a somewhat different style of rum leaning towards a more dry and floral expression, often very fruity as well. For a lot of people this seems to be a bit of an acquired taste, but it’s a style well worth getting acquinted with. I find it often offers great complexity and a sort of elegance.
