I come from a Latin American country where good and quality rum is a culture. For several years I moved to Germany and although beer reigns, with my friends here we have formed a group that enjoys the best cocktail bars and rums of the area. Over time we have tasted many excellent rums and have become more and more demanding. I've also invested some good money in my collection at our basement bar, from AH Riise, Origins to several rums produced by Oliver. There is something for everyone. It is still hard for me to say which is my favorite rum, maybe at the moment it is Malecón Rare Proof 17 YO, but the truth is that there are many very good out there.
