Leicht karamellig, stark da 50% aber guter Geruch und Geschmack, super !
Young agricole. so simple.
Decent for the money. Don't expect much- but it is priced about 1/3 of a jm and 1/9 of a velier.
It has a strong alcoholic nose, but its easy going on the mouth.
More tequila tones than rhum or grass ones.
Personally i could characterize that one as a "table rhum" i.e. froze it and enjoy it with salami, pastrami, cheese etc or in a BBQ. You will been surprised by how easy is going. Treat it like raki or even a beer..
Presents well, golden colour, smell of alcohol. A little fire but it just lacks. I had this for a second time, the bottle six months later, alcohol smell is weaker allowing pineapple and citrus through. The fire has gone and I am not impressed. Did not lower the score as the rum may have deteriorated in the bottle.
Un bon rhum pour les planteurs et autres cocktails.
Not my cup of tea. I know it's stricktly personal, in this case, but it's rhum agricole with too much taste of alcohol and barely anything else
Design : bouteille carr茅e St James, plut么t sympa.
Nez : alcool
Go没t : alcool 脿 br没ler, rien 脿 sauver
Rhum 脿 offrir aux "ind茅sirables" ou pour flamber les cr锚pes.
Its not terrible, but it tastes too much of alcohol. Try a darker one.
Vraiment bof. Pas de saveur. On a l'impression de boire de l'eau avec de l'alcool. Son point positif est qu'au moins ce n'est pas un tord boyaux.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Most of these reviews hit the nail on the head - it鈥檚 got more alcohol on the nose and palate than the blanc, even though it鈥檚 the same proof. I cannot speak to why this may be, but is does come off stronger and with less complex agricole notes than its younger counterpart.
On the other hand, it does carry a nice truffle oil flavor, perhaps from the barreling, which reminds me a touch of Paranubes. Less olivey and briny of course.
Overall decent for a paille agricole, since these are not as commonly in the US, but not at the top of my list.
