Very sweet, almost caramel-like. Must be the vanilla. No sharpness at all. If you don’t like sweet, this is not for you.
If you're sensitive to any kind of strong fruit or spice artificial flavours, you'll find if awful. Too sweet, to distinct and in greater volume sounds like perfect formula for stomach ache and serious hangover.
I'll never touch it again - still I think it's a good choice when bringing to a party or as a gift, most of my friends are rather fond of its taste. And it's definitely better than Carta Blanca.
Pretty okay for mixing and cocktails. I can make a really great eggnog with this one.
6:On the nose, there is vanilla ice cream, coconut and caramel notes. Beneath this we get a spicy ginger, some cinnamon and a hint of white pepper, raisin bread dough, chocolate cherry bark, spicy banana bread and cheesecake.
6:On the palate there is a waxy caramel candy, vanilla, a bit bitter, some ginger, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, perhaps a bit peppery, sweeteners are felt, this rum is mild, rather smooth, with subtle notes of smokiness.
5,5:The finish is quite short, sweet, watery, spicy.
Title says it all, Give me Ice and anything to mix it with and you will want to be sipping it all night. It's great for Every day pleasant unwinding. Artificial Taste? Trying it now, warm and with ice, has none of that artificial note people are crying about. Bad batches? Probably. Calling it terrible is definitely an exaggeration.
It is not bad rum, good for cocktails. Its main scent is vanilla followed by cinnamon and clove.

Call me crazy but this is just Bacardi Oakheart with a different title. If there is in fact a huge flavor difference, I'll be damned if I noticed.
