Having trouble finding it in New York City right now. Little water opens it up. One of my favorite rums.

This is another one of my favorites as I enjoy the overproof rums. This has a strong pot still taste. Not too sweet, not too stiff. I personally enjoy it with mixed drinks and especially with ginger beer. This is one of my favorites rums right now.

Open it up with a drop or two of water-outstanding!

Smith and Cross is perhaps an acquired taste...but even with a touch of coke, has a strong after taste. This would not make my rum cabinet at home.

Pot stilled brilliance, real rum bottled at 57% so needs watering in the glass and a rest before drinking but is a taste explosion. A beautiful thing on it's own or with a full bodied cigar. Not for sugary liqueur rum lovers. A real rum gem.

Powerful bouquet as soon as you open the bottle. Quite enjoyable sipped very slowly and carefully neat at room temperature, with splendid, spicy bouquet and taste. Under 50 Canadian dollars per bottle.

Once you get past the taste of rocket fuel, it continues on to give warm spicy fruits. Difficult sipping at first, but also quite moreish. Rocket fuel, warmth, spice, fruit...it makes you forget...then the cycle starts over with the next sip.

Now I think I would be the first to say that especially neat this Rum isnโ€™t for everyone. It has burn (probably especially because of the ABV), however the flavour is bold and has a fantastic depth that otherwise I would only expect from much more expensive rums. In my opinion there is a great sweet spot of dilution where this rum really shines on the rocks and some mixes do better with this than more run off the mill rums. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Sorry, you're all wrong about this. It's not "funky" or "firey", it's disgusting. This ruined every cocktail I tried to put it in. Nearly puked trying to sip it. Only rum I've ever poured down the sink. Would give it a 0/10 if I could. Good riddance.
