Kolor bardzo fajny, smak dobry, poprawny, ładnie pachnie. Taki dobry standardzik.
Another great rum from plantation. The time spent in cognac cask softens the bourbon notes. Definitely worth the price.
Nose, definitely Barbados, toffee, caramel. First sip neat, nice Barbados flavor, smooth not too hot, notes of coconut and caramel. I am a huge fan of Barbados rum, this 2005 offering by Plantation has a nice smoothness and sweetness, par the course for most Plantation, but I love their rums, as well as the more expensive offerings by Foursquare of course but I find this to be delicious and smooth. Added ice for an even more pleasant flavor and it opened up the other flavors such as molasses and vanilla.
Bon rhum de dégustation, goûte beaucoup l'alcool à essayer.
The Barbados 2005 rum comes sweet, smooth and tasty with a scent of coconut, caramel, vanilla and something fruity. You should give him some minutes to breathe after serving, because there is much alcohol in the nose at first.
Overall an enjoyable and easy going rum, but nothing really special.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I thought I had had this one before, but there are so many Plantation rums it’s hard to keep track. Not my favorite Barbados Plantation but nice solid rum bottled at 42.8%. This very well may have been the precursor to the great Barbados XX. Light gold color, mild alcohol burn on the nose, mild sweetness if not slightly bland initially on tongue and then it opens up. Not one of my top 10 but I’ll find room on my shelf.
