Very popular. I drank it several times and never regretted it. It's amazing how it is produced in a huge quantity and with a constant decent quality? Winter holidays are approaching. If you are thinking about rum, I will push you, because Sailor Jerry Spiced has practically no flaws, it is good in any form, does not cause rejection and severe consequences. When compared to the big name brands like Captain Morgan and Kraken this is the best and most flavorful either straight up or mixed with Coke.

Dans cette gamme de prix, il se défend très bien. C'est le bouteille que je sors du bar quand j'ai envie de boire un petit rhum comme ça vote fait, sans chercher à déguster quelque chose d'excellent. Rapport qualité/prix très haut.
Je le consomme avec un tout petit glaçon pour ne pas trop le diluer et le rafraîchir

Like the title says, Sailor Jerry's is good but not great. Hell, it's very good. It's a staple, tried-and-true spiced rum, that does a better job than most of its similarly priced competitors. Expect an inoffensive product that is more alcoholic than sweet tasting. It's aroma isn't a siren call, but it's certainly not unpleasant. When it comes to drinking it straight, it has a lovely kick without being too harsh, and is also equally enjoyable when mixed.

This is pretty tame stuff. I will say that I marginally prefer it to the even blander Foursquare (which feels like someone ruined a decnt rum by adding half-hearted spices to it). It's pretty dull but drinkable and ok in mixers. To see what you are missing, try RedLeg or Rebellion and if you are wanting something different and more interesting, try Chairman's Reserve Spiced or Dark Matter. RedLeg is far more spicey and has loads more kick, Rebellion is also spicier, sweeter and smoother.

I'd say that this smells a whole lot better than it tastes. The smell is spicey, the taste is of young rum - semi-decent at best. The main taste here is vanilla, which is fine - but it's pretty low-key vanilla and Pink Pigeon (if you want subtle) and Rolling Calf and OJ (if you want strong and tangy) do it better.
