Austrian Empire Double Cask Cognac

Excellent...smells lovely,with a nice sharp taste but not unpleasant and a great after taste,in more of a not boring mellow way.

Caramel, wood, clove, cinnamon in aroma; caramel, clove and chocolate in body; short tail

Excellent rum. The cognac is very noticeable in the taste. 46,5% alcohol which does not seem too much, yet feels but sits nicely on the base of the cognac. I was surprised by the rum and will buy it again.

Good drink, fine taste and end as well, but oloroso is much better for me. 6/10

Not too sweet, strong but nuce smell. Very very good for this price.

The smell is very strong on the verge of being unpleasant. As for the taste, it first hits you quite sharply too, but it's not unpleasant at all. Quite long and nice finish however I'd imagine it more complex (because of the cognac) than it really is. Not a bad choice.

Haha....světe div se. Česká Republika má své odborníky na rumy z Dominikány, Barbadosu a jiných zemí. Tento kousek hodnotím po Maximusu jako druhý nejlepší. Je znát že rum zrál v sudech od Cognacu. I když já cognacu moc neholduji, v kombinaci s tímto je to naprostá lahoda.
