Unfortunately, it doesn't taste as good as the nose promises. Has an aftertaste I really don't like at all. It's just allright with coke.

Very nice and strong aroma, caramel, tropical flavor, accurate sweetnes, smooth alcohol - I felt in love with it :-) I use it every evening for sipping...
Nothing special. Ok to drink if not something better is available.
I was fortunate to have been introduced to the Abuelo rums while inport in Panama. The 12yr knocked my socks off, smooth and nicely sweet, but not too much. Excellent!
Very rich. Nothing unexpected. However it is strong, smooth and well made. Perfect for a formal event.
This rum is very well balanced. It is sweet, but not too sweet, you can smell and taste the flavor of oak and whiskey, but it is not overly dominant, so even people who are not fans of whiskey will enjoy it. I only had a tasting, but I will definitely buy a bottle and return to this rum.
Smooth and neat rum with rastes of vanilla and honey.

I think price / quality is 1 of the better rums you can buy
a "real rum flavor" and sweet but not overly sweet... just to enjoy
