Batch nr.3 -destilled in 2011. Bottled in 2020. This is different then Batch nr. 2.
While nr.2 is more like Diplomatico , nr. 3 reminds me of Santa Teresa 1796.
Batch nr.2 Destillation 2011, botled in 2018.
Aromas- a sweet tooth, floral notes then mild woody, everything in perfect harmony.
Taste - combining two flavors, caramel and aromatic plants with a hint of molasses.
Aftertaste- soft and light finish, medium long.
I am sure everyone who likes a sweeter and balanced rums will enjoy.
I like Batch nr. 2 more.
Rum (Batch no 3),smooth and full of flavor.
Value for money !!!
Smooth start, stable body but a bit sharper finish. Great golden color. Gentle aroma of vanilla, spice and wood. A rum that makes you find the next one.
Vůně - vanilka, karamel,muškátový oříšek. V chuti spálený karamel, melasa, lehce čokoláda a výrazné tabákové tóny. Sladký ale ne přeslazený. Kvalitní ucházející rum.
This surprised me a lot, little known, not often rated, and hard to get expensive rum. However, after the first sip, I must admit that he overcame all my favorites (incl. Quorhum 30y, Cartavio XO) and advanced to the top of the rankings. Fantastic taste.
Tohle mě velmi překvapilo, málo známý, málo hodnocený, a těžce získatelný drahý rum. Nicméně po prvním doušku musím uznat, že překonal všechny mé favority (vč. Quorhum 30y) a postoupil na vrchol žebříčku. Fantastická chuť.
It is quite good. Very similar to the Diplomatico Vintage series. You taste the sherry finish along with red berries. A good and very smooth bottle.
Simply amazing. Somebody wrote here, it reminds me something between Santa Teresa and Diplomatico. Taking the good from both of them. So smooth and harmonic, full body. Slightly higher abv makes it perfect. I had chance taste together with LMDR Panama and Trinidad&Tobago. This one wins to me.
Edit: i found to have batch N3, i can't compare but I'm in love with this one. Just ordered bottle for my cabinet.
Aroma: vanilla, dark vegetal molasses, milk chocolate
Taste: light sweet caramel, brown sugar, and molasses
Finish: long, molasses, and vegetal
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Many thanks to Joola69 for letting me try this as part of rare rum exchange!
This is one of my all time favorites! I read that this is based on a Diplomatico vintage rum, which is already one of my all time favorites, but this is 47%abv rather than just 43%, and to me that makes it even better (good rums taste better stronger)!
Smells and tastes of rich butter toffee, caramel, and butterscotch, with a light sherry taste that doesn't detract from the rum. Taste is a wonderful follow up to the nose. As mentioned, the 47%abv makes it even better than Diplomatico vintage in my opinion. Simply amazing!
