Is you want a fruited agricole then this is the stuff . A great experiment display d in the bottle with fresh beautiful flavours that one would useally associate with cocktails but they have blended it in the spirit . It's definitely on the sweeter side of rum liquors ... I love it but would be exvit d if they dialled up th percentage aswell
Aweet and bitter, very little burn but strong enough for effect! This is all I want to drink next summer!
Generally such sweet fruity-flavored rums / liqueurs (e.g. coconut, vanilla, pineapple, mango, etc.) should be treated within their own category, the difference in comparison to a classical rum/rhum is just too obvious. So trying to judge this rum this way the Damoiseau Rhum Arrangé Mangue Passion at 30% gives you a full broadside predominantly of mango taste. But what is interesting is the fact that these notes mix up at the palate with the typical grassy notes which are so representative for a rhum agricole and that manages to give this Arrangé more substance. However the mango taste is clearly predominant at nosing, palate and finish, so do not expect too much complexity (some vanilla may be noticed in addition). Especially the finish gives the impression you might have sipped just some mango juice as it is very sweet and fruity. So one can easily forget that you have just tried something at 30% alcohol. In my view the rating clearly depends on whether you like only classical rums or whether you are also open-minded for flavored and fruity liqueurs with only some kind of rum-basis. If you also like mango fruits this Arrangé might be interesting for you. Given the speed we cleared the bottle when tasting this liqueur I should give it a best-in-class grade. Given the limit of complexity and the above mentioned aspects I rate it with a 7.

Aroma massive passionfruit and a touch of mango. Taste tropical fruit and vanilla, slight alcohol burn but smooth overall
