Pyrat XO Rum is produced from nine different Caribbean rums that are blended and then aged up to 15 years in used American sweet oak barrels.
The squat Pyrat XO rum bottle shape is inspired by the typical design of rum bottles kept by pirates and ship captains in the 19th century.

This is a decent aged rum. Pyrat has a nice aged rum taste with a quite strong orange aroma. I liked it. The bottle is is also quite nice. Also a good value.

Pyrat is ok. Very citrusy and grassy. Not the smoothest but offers a change from other rums.
Presentation and marketing 8/10, rum quality 5/10. This one got buried in cocktails.
