Virgin Islands, British | Aged | 40% ABV
The Great British Admiralty first served rum daily to its Royal Navy sailors over 300 years ago until the ration was abolished in 1970. In 1979 Charles Tobias bought the recipe rights, formed Pusser’s Ltd. in the British Virgin Islands, and for the first time made the rum it available for public consumption.
Pusser’s British Navy rum today is the same blend of five West Indian rums as the British Admiralty issued to sailors.
Known as the “single malt of rum” Pusser’s British Navy rum is pot stilled using a similar method as that for single malt scotches, and with no artificial flavors is 100% natural.

Just another ordinary rum, not for me. 3-years is not enough indeed. I like overproof version, but not this one.
This stuff is overly sweet and tastes terrible. Not buying this again.
I know what I like and its not this just not my cup of tea prefer light spiced than the dark rums
This is a unique rum with a blend of funk and caramel. I don't think I've found a rum that has the same flavor profile that makes great cocktails.
This is fairly smooth and totally decent. It tastes and smells a lot like Wray And Nephew Overproofed Rum but without the heat. It's pretty good stuff and it is the bottle that gave birth to the Painkiller, which is a delicious cocktail! I can safely say that it has a delicious (very mellowed) baking spice (especially ginger) taste to it. Worth buying!
Versatile rum at an incredible value. Not stellar neat, but agreeable on its own, comfortable on the rocks, and flexible enough to be used in a variety of drinks (not just the famous Painkiller). Tastes of molasses, vanilla, and coffee. A staple in my “workhorse” bar rotation
could sip this all day. Worth being on your shelf.
Næse: fyldig sødme. Smag: kraftige smagsnoter af træ. Eftersmag: lang og rund.
Original tot served to sailors

It has just the right balance of sweet.
"The rum is rich, warming, sweet, slightly oaked with hints of black pepper and allspice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I like sweet rums so I wanted to give 6 but gave 7 because I feel that is a good one. Maybe if it was sweet would be much better. ;)
