In der Nase sanft und medizinartig. Geräucherte Kräuter treiben völlig gechillt in salzigem, stark gebranntem Karamell umher. Stark getoastete Hölzer verströmen edle Düfte von frisch fermentierten Vanilleschoten und dunkler Schokolade. Süsse Früchte und saure Kirschen, Cranberrys, Ananas, Lakritze, mit einem Hauch Kampfer erinnert das Ganze an die Holzkommode der Grossmutter.
Am Gaumen geschmeidig und gereift. Kräuter und Omas Möbel bleiben dominant, kandierte Früchte und karamellisierte Hölzer eifern ihren Vorbildern nach. Vanille, Harze, frisches Gras, Lakritze und etwa Kampfer versteckt sich ganz hinten in einer Schublade.
Im Abgang sehr rauchig wie Whiskey, nicht wie Omas Ofen. Früchte und Hölzer ziehen mit Vanille und Karamell langsam von dannen.
Ein Rum der eine Lange offene Zeit und eine gute Temperatur braucht. Für Whiskey Liebhaber, Entdecker und Geniesser. 8+

Gentle and medicinal on the nose. Smoked herbs float around completely chilled in salty, heavily burnt caramel. Heavily toasted woods give off noble scents of freshly fermented vanilla beans and dark chocolate. Sweet fruits and sour cherries, cranberries, pineapple, licorice, with a hint of camphor, the whole is reminiscent of grandmother's wooden dresser.
Supple and mature on the palate. Herbs and grandma's furniture remain dominant, candied fruits and caramelized woods emulate their models. Vanilla, resins, fresh grass, licorice and about camphor hides in the very back of a drawer.
Finishes very smoky like whiskey, not grandma's oven. Fruits and woods pull with vanilla and caramel slowly from then.
A rum that needs a long open time and a good temperature. For whiskey lovers, explorers and connoisseurs. 8+
