This is the smoother version of the Plantation Xaymaca. Aroma and flavors of ripe banana and roasted pineapple. A herbal rum too.
Here are the tasting notes:
TASTING NOTES
Nose : Very complex, slightly smoky and meaty with fruity, herbal and sour notes building up. Next vanilla come forward, almost pastry-like, with cooked banana, bitter orange peel and ripe pineapple.
Palate : Dry, with a more floral and fruitier profile of rose water, soursop, pear, white grape, apricot and sugar-apple. Next some coconut milk, balsam, allspices, bread and nuts emerge.
Røg i duften. Meget frugt og sukker i smagen. Lagret på amerikansk eg, som giver en kraftig og tør smag. Mange smagsnuancer. Blandt andet peber. Røg i eftersmagen og brændt banan. Ikke den bedste fra Plantation. (Smagt på romskolen 2019)
Bra men lite för söt. Tror dom tillsatt en del socker
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum starts with a nice nosing with pleasant notes of tropical fruits, raisins and banana. With these flavors also the palate starts off, but then fades away suddenly to a very sweet sugar flavor. Short finish. Not sure whether sugar has been added but this obvious switch in the flavor profile is somewhat dubious for me.
