Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

It is just heaven. I like the finishing very much.
My first favorite rum. Always precent in my rumcabinet.
Nice aroma no strong alcohol noted,.lovely amber color, vanilla caramel and cinnamon. Very smooth throughout.
A wonderful rum to enjoy neat. Very clean finish and one I want to find a bottle of for my collection.
comes in a beautiful decanter. Smells and tastes lovely, very sweet though be warned. Lovely stuff.

you can never go wrong with this bottle, a little expensive but worth the price if it is not a daily drinker. their pineapple rum is amazing as well, highly recommend.
Sweet and perfectly balanced, so full of aromas, such smoothness! Would have easily rate it with 10 but then it wouldn't have a meaning anymore to continue exploring the wonderful world of rums....

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary is a blend of the oldest Bajan Rum which owns the brand, specially selected rum from the Caribbean who've been matured in ex-bourbon barrels. The blended rum is aged again after blending, this time in small French oak barrels for a period of 12 to 18 months. This double maturation gives space to the rum to make better and fuller flavors and character development which improves the result.
The precious contents of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary comes in a beautiful decanter sealed by a synthetic cork that bottle sealing perfect. The carafe shows the seductive rich color of copper and curiosity to taste.
Aromas of caramel and toasted coconut immersed open in a spicy oak aroma, followed by orange marmalade and hints of marzipan with tobacco. Tones of brown sugar, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg provide balance and harmony to the nose.
