Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

A very smooth, sweet, easy-to-enjoy rum. Maybe a bit too sweet for my preference, but definitively one to always keep in stock. If for no other reason than to have something to offer for those that are skeptical to rum. Everybody I've offered it to absolutely loves it. I have converted many a skeptic with this one.

Man, I love this rum. It's a great sipper. This is not a mixing rum for me but I would be willing to experiment.

This is different from the other Barbados rums I’ve had; definitely sweeter and likely with some dosage. Nonetheless, it is still quite delicious and delightful to sip. Not cloying, and still maintains a bit of complexity.

Denna rom är för priset väldigt bra. Lättsam och god att ta på kvällen när man bara kopplar av.
Fin färg och lagom sötma gör denna till en stark 8 i sin class.

Riktigt prisvärd rom med tydliga smaker och lagomt len med en tydlig smak av vanilj och fruktighet. Den smälter bra i munnen och perfekt till en kaffe t.ex. En av dom mest prisvärda

Blind tasting Plantation XO against other rums like Mount Gay XO isn’t really blind because PXO has so much more personality: both the aroma and first sips intrigue, with hints of crème brûlée

Not overly impressed. I heard so much about this rum, and thought it would be better.

An excellent sipping rum. Very balanced and pleasant, complex nose and taste with some coconut flavor. Soft, not too strong aftertaste. Very good value for money.

This is a really tasty rum. It is a bit on the sweet side, but in a rum old fashioned you can cut back on the add sweetener. It is an inviting amber color, and an aroma that whisks you off to the Caribbean.
