If you like Jamaica funk rum, you will probably like this. It is certainly affordable, and nice for the price. It's just not my cup of tea. I'll finish the bottle, but probably will not buy again. Enjoy!
Plantation with very fresh and specific nose, tastes great!
Very dry Rum. For that kind of price a great little addition to anybodys Collection. Nice to drink after a heavy meal. Nothing to bind down.
A rum with no additives or added sugar, you get a rum as it is. As you can expect from the label, it is a dry rum. So not recommended for beginners, but definitely worth trying out as a more seasoned rum drinker.
I got it as a gift. Was really excited about it coz it has been getting a lot of praise here and there, i thought i saw it somewhere as best rums of 2018 or something. Anyway, the excitement seized when i poured me a little to drink neat. Let me talk about the pros first. It feels honest and not sugared down to oblivion with some funkiness to it but that's about it. It should have been bottled in higher ABV and maybe left to mature more. It feels like it lacks power and it's quite dry, with so dry a finish that it becomes unpleasant. A bit funk is there but nowhere near a good jamaican rum.
Smells better than it tastes. On the nose you get the rich dried fruit with zesty notes, in the mouth it tastes like a smooth Jamaican rum with missing complexity. I liked it straight and mixed. Reliable plantation quality, just seemed a bit deceiving from its smell vs taste. Overall would recommend it, but there are others I would choose before returning to this
This is an experience. Like many scotch drinkers that will eventually end up in Islay, it’s a rum enthusiast’s pilgrimage to Jamaica that will introduce the hogo. Not all will stay, but most will fondly recall the high tones funky notes of this delicious libation
Feinwürzig in der Nase. Intensiv, alkoholisch, mit leichter Bitternote. Hat Körper. Trocken aber rund.
A really nice spicy delivery.
"Quite spicy, quite a lot of heat – white pepper, ginger and all spice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I was looking for a Jamaican rum for Mai Tais. I like dry wines and this is advertised as dry. I have enjoyed other Plantation rums so I thought I'd give this a try. This one seems a little lacking - needed something a little more funky and fuller.
