Maybe. Add mixer if the funk is too much. This is worth its place on taste.
To mix in cocktails stick to the silver Rum . The gold just doesn't go
Sampled at Cardiff Rum Festival.
Jah45 18ct Gold is a blend of three-year-old pot still rum and unaged column still rums sourced from numerous distilleries in Jamaica. This is a relatively new rum to the market I believe it only recently launched.
It's a good rum to mix with cola or to use in cocktails, full bodied and fruity.
Slight notes of licorice and a touch of sweet coffee.
"Delivers a lot of the dark treacly notes Itβs actually surprisingly smooth."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This has an Appleton vibe. I suspect there's not too much pot still in this blend.
Smell is pretty mild. I get fermented apples and caramel under a touch of cleaning fluid.
Taste is all that, with a bit of fire tempered by a good dose of added sugar. The finish is all banoffee pie.
Hey, it cost Β£20. I got no complaints. I will pass it round the dance floor Saturday night, and I'm sure no-one will mind!
