When I first read review mentioning brine I was like why the hell would I drink this, yet it makes sense, and is amazing even though it's such an alien taste
Ignore the nose at first contact with this - something extraterrestrial.
Just let it breath for 256+ seconds. Its industrial part will evaporate and then, it's mother nature will kick your ass and mind. Kicks in smooth manner. Kicks with exotic taste you had never experienced.
Fresh sea salt 5°. Flowers 5°, Fresh fruits 5°. Dried fruits 20°. Liquorice 22.5° - just the sugar cane - fat as cream.

Unique character for this white rum from La Réunion. Toasted Ripe banana and tapenade dominant. Final that lasts..

- chuť nasládlá, silné štiplavé koření, % je cítit, přezrálé ovoce, olivy, květiny, jód
závěr dlouhý, přezrálé ovoce, náznak oliv, parádní Savanna 👏👏

The Savanna Lontan Batch 3 2019 comes from Reunion and was made from sugar cane juice in the Single Column Style. The rum is bottled with 57% Alkohol in barrel strength.
In the nose, the rum shows a very special note. Smoky olives pair with intense sugar cane juice flavors. In addition, there is some funk and light tropical fruit. On the palate, the rum is then pleasant to drink. The high ester content brings some glue and fermented fruit, but also spicy floral notes, salt and a proper alcoholic bite.
I honestly have to say that the rum doesn't taste very good to me. Especially the nose does not convince me. But the rum is interesting. Very good for blending and mixing.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
