This is a blend rum from Black Rock distillery known as West Indies Rum Distillery. This rum is (allegedly) from the legendary Rockley Still (Pot).
Not only he unique for his Rockley style but he is one of the few Bajan rums to be made from sugar cane juice and not molasses.
The rum was aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon oak casks in the Caribbean and then for a few months in Port Martinez casks in Scotland.
Nose: Caramel, Spices and Tobacco.
Taste: Brown sugar, Vanilla, Berries and Cherries.
Finnish: Sweet and Smokey
After the bottle is open for a week or two you can taste better the Rockley Style Rum. Smells of mustiness and Smokey notes. On the palate the Agricole tastes are more noticeable.
It is an Excellent rum, a well balanced rum that features Bajan flavors and Agricole flavors with a hint of smoke.
