Very light aroma and taste with oak, vanilla and some mineral tones. Taste is not much complex and aftertaste only average long. In distillery claimed, that this one aged only 10 days in new Oak barrels. If you have a chance, try sample, but nothing special.
Different, sweet, light touch, as expected, but a great pick.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I prefer this to both the Mount Gay XO, and the Mount Gay 1703 Master Select! It's a surprisingly nice release from Mount Gay, and relatively affordable too! As a disclaimer, I'm not really a fan of the Mount Gay rums, as I find them far too dry. But this is a tad sweeter than the others, and very nicely smooth. I bought this as a two-pack with the Mount Gay Origin Series Vol I Charred Cask, and a slightly prefer that to this, but this is still one of my favorite Mount Gay rums!
Smells and tastes of caramel, spice, oak, and vanilla. If you like Mount Gay rums, I highly recommend this!
