I tried this at a virtual rum tasting event and it's definitely one I will have to revisit with a cocktail platter to see which goes best .
I only had 50ml so to try and rate as a agricole was a struggle ... I had it straight.
It had tasting notes of olives ,sugars and fresh grass
It’s a surprise because at 110 you expect hot…
I could sip it and was thinking wait ..
Didn’t need any chaser.
It’s one of the smoothest I’ve had at 110.
Slight sweetness, sugar cane agricole
Thanks let do it again.
Pendant le confinement j'ai découvert le Damoiseau, malgré ces 50° il passe très bien avec un peu de sucre et de citron vert
It has 110 in the name so I knew it was going to burn hot.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I was not expecting a 110-proof unaged agricole to be sippable, but this one is! (At least to me, anyway... Does that make me weird?) This rum has a powerful aroma that is full of body and character. (It even smelled a little chocolatey to me...) Very interesting. Would sip again.
I cannot wait to try this in a Ti' Punch someday!
