Lagom sötma fruktig o mjuk och len i smaken. Vacker färg
Medium dark, smooth, slightly fruity, slightly burnt
Tasted nos. 1 and 2 side by side--this one was better. It still isn't a great rum, however.
N- Now with Barbet Still patent from France. Grilled honeydew melon, charred brown sugar and chocolate overlay with orange peels, also the raisin, banana and white fruits. Well lifted with zestier nuance, nice resin oak develop overtimes, cedar, tobacco and finely sweet. (87/21)
P- Ya, this works, waxy white fruits with polished oak phenol, balanced with full mouthfeel that comes with subtle tropical fruits underlay. Adore the drifting spiciness in this one. (89/22)
F- Medium long, dry and clean with delicate wood lasted the distances. (88/22)
B/B- 89/22.

Nice tasting rum. It was nice to try both batch 1 and 2 side by side. Considering it was the exact same batch of rum only difference was the way it was distilled. My personal opinion was this version was much more refined and had the best of the two finishes, however my son felt the exact opposite about the 1 over the 2 batch. Good mans rum, no additives or back sweetening. Good rum and unique.
Nice vanilla sweet nose. Abvish sharp smokey vanilla oaky body. Lng snooth vanilla snokey sweetish loooong end. Less sweet the Diplomatico Reserva and more taste of alcohol...
I am still in the sweet rum range, and this one took some getting uden to, but i find some very interesting taste notes in this rum.
Milk chocolate, a touch of raisin and some light sugary toffee.
"It starts with a slightly sickly overly sweet note of alcohol which quickly fades into a mildly smoky and tobacco, like mid palate. Which is equally short."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

More complex, sweeter and smoother than number 2. Agree that it could’ve been aged longer, but still a very good rum
