Beautiful straw color. On the nose are very vegetal notes. On the second nose, there are notes of exotic fruits but it is very simple, not very complex. On the palate, alcohol is very present perhaps a little too much. alcohol is not very integrated. The final that is not long is on the plant. It's a rum to learn, it's too young.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

8: On the nose, the first thing that strikes you is the soft wood, very pleasant. The orange is quickly mixed in with the caramel. This is a greedy profile, but it does not necessarily give the impression that the rum is sweet. This is even amplified by a candy side (with a Malabar tendency) as well as a light almond note.
8: On the palate, it is confirmed: it is not sweet and it is good! We find again this very pleasant wood discovered on the nose, and we also have the candied cherry that the Rasteau finish brings, nice peach. One might think that its "small" 40° would make it a rum that lacks a bit of pep, but this is not the case, it is very well dosed. It is very smooth!
7: The finish is medium, still on the delicate woody note, and there is also a touch of almond. It is also slightly peppery and a tad marked by gunpowder.
