Black Tears Spiced

The rum is ok for spiced. It's ok to drink it neat and compliment with cigar.

This one i was recommended by a seller in a wine store as a better rum than Contrabanda Aged (not bad too). And it really is. Nice smooth taste for separate drinking good flavor of pepper and coffe. I liked. I think that for it`s price it`s a good bargain.

Easy and smooth to drink on neat.
With a hint of nutmeg and clove.
A bit too sweet for my personal taste.

Within the Spiced Rum category, there aren't many that can touch this (especially at the price).
Showing good restraint on the sugar content (there are non-spiced rums with more added sugar than this), perhaps a touch heavy on the coffee and cacao, and could have upped the pepper a touch. Good oaky vanilla profile (rather than infused vanilla).
It's not winning any awards as a straight rum, but within the Spiced category it's damn near the best you can get.

I tasted it during my vacation on Cuba. It is very sweet and spiced, but for the price 97 EUR it is not bad.

First I thought, when I smelled it, this is nice. A bit fruity, vanilla etcetera. But when I took my first sip I thought, jeez, this is not quite what I like. A long strange aftertaste in front of my mouth and nose. A bit smoky flavour but not a nice one. And in cola it’s also not really special either. That's why I give it a 4.

Все есно: задекларували каву - кава й домінує в усьому, і в ароматі, і в смаку. Солодкуватий, але не дуже. Загалом підійте любителям кави або кавового морозива. За свою цінку - достойний спайсд ром.

Everything is clear: they declared coffee - coffee dominates everything, both in aroma and taste. Sweet, but not too sweet. In general, suitable for coffee or coffee ice cream lovers. Decent spiced rum for its price.

At first you taste the coffe then alcohol and rest and at the end an unpleausant big spice at my throat that keeps.....

An interesting and quite complex spiced rum with cocoa undertones a big kick of coffee and an almost chilli like afterburn. Certainly worth a try but not one I will come back to
