Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

De los rones más asequibles y de fácil disfrute. Havana es Havana y éste jovencito está a la altura de la situación siempre.
Can't go wrong with this for a party but not one to cherish.
Had this with a solitary ice cube and was perfectly accebtable not to complex but easy going.
This rum might be more for mixing with somwthing sweet, as the rum itself totally isn't. It might take a while to finish this one.
Rich spice and smoky leather on the nose and then all smooth...
My dad brought me one of this bottles from his last trip to Cuba. To be honest i did not like it to much, its harsh and has a really string alcohol taste. The bottle is nice so I kept as decoration for my bar.
A great smooth rum straight and mixed. Love these rums
I prefer the Anejo Especial, which is cheaper, as a sipper. However, this one is better with coke than the Especial Overall, since I prefer to sip, this scores less.
It's dark, very "spirity" (maybe a hint of a brandy or whisky flavour and smell). It has a strong smokeyness and burnt molasses to it. There's a hint of tobacco so it would go decently with a cigar. It's certainly very, very nice with coke - better than most rums, so that's the place to go with this. If you like rum and coke, go for it!
Un ron perfecto para acompañarlo con hielo y coca cola.
Puedes hacerlo pasar por un solera sin ningún problema
Riquísimo.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."

Finer taste than Havana Especial, but still a quite basic rum.
