Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

This rum isn't bad, but there are rums tastier than this. It's not overly sweet, has a nice aroma and taste. There is a bit of an alcoholic nip in the aftertaste.
Sippable, but more a rum for cocktails and such
Average, with nice aroma, to use on a weekday, when you feel like drinking a mix.
Really nice! Nice smooth taste ! And that for a good price
Double measure with coke, ice and a squeeze of lime very nice
I picked up this bottle on my vacation in Spain. Didn't regret it. There was a little 20ml bottle included with honey flavor. You need to add 3 dashes of this bottle into your glass. Very nice smooth sipping rum when you want a relaxing moment.
Goldbraun.
This is an ok drink if you can’t get your hands on anything better. Like in a lot of pubs, the rum selection tends to be rubbish compared to the choice of gins. I’d give it 6.5 if you could give 1/2 points.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

'caramel, cane sugar, and a bit of cinnamon character in the finish'

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
