Bacardi Gran Reserva 8-Year

Very disappointing rum, aging not filling at all, sharp alcohol and no aftertaste.

Love this rum, my go-to for a good, affordable rum.

Orange yuckiness, artificial and bitter even nose smells rancid. Cant sip it, would be ok in an old fashion

Canny. A slight burn. Smells nice. A bit medicine-y

Surprisingly nice to me, I see some bad reviews on here but I really don't hate this one. Definitely tobacco and cherry, and no real sharp edge.

This would be good in a rum and coke. But it is NOT a sipper. Thin, no complexity and out of balance. A little oak and a spec of vanilla. Nothing else. Unlike most Bacardi it is drinkable but would be much better mixed with something this rum is not, something smooth and flavorful.

This rum is not bad for the price I pay, but since I can add a few more dollars for the 10 year old I’m not really going for this one anymore.

I actually like the cheaper Bacardi black better. I found the black more smooth and enjoyable, this one seem to have a little harshness to it. Just a more expensive middle ground rum, I won't buy it again.
