A combination of aged rums from Jamaica and Trinidad, produced by Danish bottler 1423 for its Compañero range. The Jamaican rums in the blend come from pot stills, while the rums from Trinidad were produced in column stills. The resulting expression is well-balanced and flavoursome - perfect for sipping neat. Sandalwood and tobacco give it a savoury nose, while notes of fried banana and chocolate balance out the palate.
It was beautiful colour! Smells and taste also are quite nice. But it hasn't any own special features, what a pity.
powerful nose with some smoke with a smooth elegant taste of oak and some fruits
Canndybar in a bottle, probably with a lot of added sugar. The nose is very sweet and kinda earthy with caramel, licourice and pastry. The notes from the nose carrys over the the taste, alongside buttery cocoa. It's fullbodied and very sweet with a destinct prickly sensation on the finish. The high proof helps counterbalance the heavy sweetness so it doesnt get to cloying.
Jamaica have a distinct flavour, when it comes to their rum. The same goes for Trinidad. The mix aims to broadly hitting none of the distinct marks of either.
Nose: Classic funky smells of a Jamaican rum, but way toned down.
Taste: At first it tastes like a classic Jamaican rum, but it soon transitions to a more smooth Trinidad-esque taste.
Overall: Fans of Jamaican and Trinidad-rums will hate this. It aims for all, but hits none.
an ok rum with a strong and powerful fragrance from the Jamaican rum and a smooth and elegant taste from the Trinidad rum with a lingering finish.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Big disapointment. Lots of alcohol a petroleum in nose. Very harsh. Strong alcohol burn.
