I think it is best rum from angostura. Much taster than 1824
Dark rich color, great taste and aroma. Can simply enjoy on the rocks.
This is TT's best widely available rum. Nice body, good to drink neat, not overly sweet.
Good flavour smooth taste smells strong. Good barrel taste
Testade denna på Birkas romkryssning 2019 och den här passade inte min smak. En dominerande smak av bränt gummi fick mig och min sambo att hälla ut den.
Perfection! Smooth from the 1st sip to the last drop,no bitter oily or chemical after taste, love everything about this rum, haven’t found a 15 year old rum to match this one yet!
I didn’t think Angostura could do better than 1824, but... here we are. A very smooth, sippable rum.
The oak taste surprised me a little the first time i treid it ... But i gave it a chance ... The oak taste turns in to a sweet taste of fruit
Thick molasses, toffee sweetness with a touch of funky/ sourness from long fermented rum which I enjoy very much. Toasted oak and pop corn with caramel coating.
Less charred notes compare to Angostura 1824 which makes it light but flavourful toffee sweetness, dried prunes and unripe peach.
Finishing was a surprise which is woody and pretty fruity, perhaps it's from the aging which I enjoy very much.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

First, it is a shame that Angostura changed the bottle type and replaced the cork with a valve and a regular cap. Just by presentation, this rums should score very low. Regarding the rum, it has a caramel and fruity smell, and almost no alcohol. In mouth you can taste prune, vanilla, caramel and the oak. You could say it is at the same level of sweetness as the El Dorado 12. Aftertaste is oaky.
