My daughter knows I like run so she brought me back some of this Antigua rum. Certainly not my normal style as I'm an aged rum drinker. It's a bit harsh and the taste is not pleasant to me, but, as the rating states, easily consumable in a pinch
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This 3yo English Harbour seems to be really hard to find nowadays. I didn’t see it when I vacationed in Antigua, but I found it on an German online shop so I bought me two bottles cause I’m an English Harbour fan.
Tested it together with the 3yo gold rum from English Harbour, which was clearly the better one of the two.
Hard to say for me, but it’s not a great rum. But it’s possible to drink neat which I was unsure about before the tasting. I thought that the two 3yo should be quite similar to each other but they aren’t, this one has a much rawer taste. The price is almost the same as for the 3yo gold and the 5yo and it can not compete with them.
So as a summary I would say it’s for English Harbour fans who want to have all different English Harbour rums in their collection.
