Artificially sweetened and flavoured, but does the trick. Absolutely delicious, truly does not need any mix, though ginger ale gives it a perfect pop.
Ah, the sweet aroma of fall...leaves falling ,colder temps ....pumpkins, Thanksgiving turkeys .....all of these aromas ...ADD this wonderful concoction from Capt.Morgan !!!!..........even shaped like a pumpkin !...
UPDATE !!
Seems that when it first came out in the USA..on the bottle ,it said RUM ...now ,in Canada where I is ....it is called a PUMPKIN SPICED FLAVOURED LIQUOR..
.....and the ingredients are ..water,alcohol,sugars(glucose,fructose)..natural flavours caramel and spices...
It AINT rum !!......just a gimmick drink ....better as a zipper than a mixer ...
I am a huge fan of anything pumpkin flavored. I was glad to see that captain brought this back this year. I bought 6 bottles last year and was running low. Over ice this makes a great seasonal get together drink. Hope it continues next year.
Cant tell its a rum, Drinks like juice, but is enjoyable nonetheless
Mixed with apple cider and ginger ale for a fun seasonal cocktail.
It's my favorite, I drink it straight up, no ice or anything added smooth
What can you say about a gimmick. Like always when the captain comes up with these gimmicks it fits just right. I own each of the 3 captains ball bottle rums and just just like the other two this one falls right where I thought it was going too. I find this a fun drink to share with friends. However, it would not be a quick restock or go to drinking rum for me. That is truely the reason for the rating.
It's more a tingle from the spices than the alcohol.
"It’s very, very sweet – full of sugar, there’s another hit of Cinnamon but it’s not as strong as on the nose. The finish is remarkably short. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I typically do my October shot of this and try to remember why I did it in the first place. Good for Halloween mixes.
