Distilled using small-batch copper pot stills uniquely designed for Appleton Estate, this rum is a blend of several rums aged 21 years in American oak barrels. Once blended, the rum is re-casked for two years to marry the flavors.
Appleton Estate 21-year rum is produced in Jamaica on one of the country’s oldest and most renowned sugar estates. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a signed aging certificate by master blender Joy Spence.

A very good sipper with hints of chocolate, tobacco, citrus flavors and a long oak finish. Much to savor. My only issue is it's on par with the much cheaper brother Appleton 12 Year Rare Blend and it's hard to justify the cost difference. Still would recommend those who haven't tried it to enjoy it.
this rum taste for me stronger and dry, it is no sweet with alcohol stronger taste
Underbar doft av brunt socker, kaffe, choklad.
Smakar melass, vanilj, torkade frukter, citrus, toner av ek.
Ligger kvar länge i munnen. En elegant rom som med lite mer sötma hade höjt betyget.
This is what rum should be about, mellow and long on flavor. 3 ounces in a tulip glass, 1 large splash of water, 1 ice cube and 2 whiskey stones. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, swirl, inhale, sip, then feel the stress melt away. Best cure I know of for a bad day at work in the Emergency Room.
Musical rating, Jimmy Buffett singing Bob Marley and the Wailers. Best of both worlds!
I ended up painting my home bar in the colors of the presentation box.
Selvom prisen er lidt pebret, får man meget for pengene her.
Ones you taste it's done. The smell the looks the taste. This is Jamaica
First of all, presentation is beautiful with a well designed bottle. Multiple flavors hit at first sip with a slight bite but where this rum excels is that smooth and tasty finish. A great rum that should only be served neat or on the rocks.
Color caoba, olor fuerte igual k el gusto en boca, se distingue la vainilla, clavo, cafe y madera, postgusto largo.
Nice brown sugar and toffee notes with a nice creamy nuttiness underneath.
"Tropical notes of sweet fruits a little orange zest and some nice notes of tropical fruit. It burns slightly on the finish which is very long and satisfying. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Nose is pure oak. There's a thickness to it, but nothing stands out for me but the oak. A little sweetness, but then countered with a bitter aftertaste.
