Plantation Barbados Grande Reserve

Overwelming sweetness in the nose, a bit too much actually, which runs right into the taste and finish. All in all a good sweeter rum especially for the price. Personally I like some more character in a rum, but that would be a bit too much to ask from an only 5 year old rum, I guess.

En god rom att njuta som den är men passar också väldigt bra med cola.
En tydligt arom av vanilj samt att man även finner smakaen av vanilj. Kan varmt rekommendera denna till någon som vill börja dricka rom rent.

God, blir sällan besviken på Plantation, inte den här gången heller!

Fruity Barbados stylenotes from a tropical palette. There is almost a creamy texturein the moth. For sipping and drinks.

Not bad. The taste is dry with a hint of oak, not very sweet and a little bit like orange peels. Maybe it is better for mixed drinks. Light amber color.
Bottle is classic Plantation style, very nice with the cork.

One of my favourites on the beginning of my rum carrer. You can sip. In my opinion it's balanced, for somebody sweeter. Great value for the money and stylish bottle.

Bought this by mistake thinking it was the Plantation 5 years (the labels look a lot alike).
And compared to the 5 years it falls short by a significant margin, especially as a sipper.
It is not great and not terrible and can be sipped or mixed.

Fruity taste. A bit sweet. Quite good tastw for a good price.

Smooth easy sipper. Soft up front with a short barrel finish.

Niewiele się dzieje - nieco słodki, ale i "bimbrowy", z ostrym, alkoholowym finiszem. Pewnie w cubalibre dałby radę, ale to jak każdy inny.
