Wood! Don’t know how to explain this feeling, it looks like “very clean”, when you taste it. And after second you got this full of wood taste. Imagine clear waterfall coming from ground. Water is cold. And after that you got so strong oak taste.
I can’t say that this Rum is “super fantastic”, but it have some independence. This Rum is special, something different.

I give about 7,8 - 8,3

Förväntningar på denna var låg inför första gången jag provade den. Men oj så fel jag hade. Många som gillar whisky sägs gilla den här och jag är inte en whiskyfantast därav de låga förväntningarna. Men rökigheten som denna bjuder på är så perfekt och lagom att den placeras sig bland royalen. Royalen är dyrare absolut, och är bättre men denna får också en 9a pga att man får 3 av denna för priset av 1 royal.

You have to let it breathe for some minutes. The flavour is smooth, smokey and the aftertaste stays longer. Nice sipper to enjoy.

I like the oak flavor, but this rum barely makes into my “drinking rum” category. I would prefer more buttery notes and other flavors.

I'm so bad at these reviews. It's a great rum. Solid choice. Do buy.

Ligesom jeg ikke er en stor fan af 23-års udegaven, så fanger denne rom mig heller ikke.

Den har en røget og krydret smag blandet med karamel.

I am a big fan of the Zacapa line of rum. The smoky flavor and intensity really adds a lot of character to this rum. A very different and bold taste compared to Zacapa 23 Solera.

Good rum across the board. Drink it neat and or on the rocks. I like to ad a pinch to a rum and coke to bring up a hint of smoke. This rum is totally unique from the other Zacapas i have tasted. Rich, hint of sweetness, leather, tobacco, dark fruits and a slight hint of sweet. Good stuff!
