El Dorado 21 is produced near the equator in Guyana by Demerara distillery. The final product is a blend of rums, aged between 21 and 25 years and crafted using 100% locally sourced Demerara sugar. Traditional tools are used in the distilling processes including three unique wooden stills. The rums rest until maturity in 45 gallon oak casks.

Super rom, som er langt bedre end sine yngre brødre.
I really liked this one. I pared it with the Appletons 21 and liked them both for different reasons. So rich and full bodied. Worth twice the price of its 15 year sibling though? I thought not initially when i had tried them separately however now I tried them together and although I thought I didn't I really do prefer the 21 over the 15. It has a perfect balance and the alcohol burn just comes through as pure spice. Equal to my other favorite Zapata XO
This is an amazing sipping rum. Complex flavours, not over-sweet and smooth finish. Darn near perfection!
Not very expensive given the age, but not nearly as smooth as one would expect either. Fair price @ $100 cdn for the bottle, but nothing to get overly excited over.
Well-balanced rum with good taste that always seems to please me.
Die Milde zeigt sich über den gesamten Bereich. Zeigt aber leider nicht meinen Geschmack. Lieber den Diplomatico Exclusiva trinken
Smooth touch with a minor dry finish that stays a while..
Truely loved the first sniff I took at it, So many aroma's running free when you swirl it just once after that first sniff.
When you poor that first sip on your tongue the rum really comes together.
Oak, tabbacco, vanilla , just a couple of flavors that come to mind.
Great rum , but the price is accordingly high.
I have yet to be wowed by an Eldorado rum. One priced at £75 you might think would achieve that but not even close.
Maybe not a "wow" drink but certainly a pleasant tipple.
Assurément un des meilleurs rhums que j'ai eu la chance de déguster ! Un solide 9/10 en ce qui me concerne.
'spice nose with hints of honey and dark sugar'
"El Dorado 21-Year rum review by The Ultimate RumGuide"
There is an extra layer of oak in the profile.
"Notes of oak and a slight spiciness also comes through. The rum is very smooth and easy drinking but complex enough to ensure you savour each sip of the drink. The finish is long lasting."

I like the El Dorado range. The 21 year edit is a great rum...very smooth and elegant. but in my opinion a little bit too expensive.
