El Dorado 12-Year

Good value sipping rum. Pleasant aroma and flavour, with or without ice. Recommended.

My preferred Rum for enjoying straight up! Good price, much more reasonable than 15 year olds. Love the smooth taste and finish.

Compared to basic El dorado it feels mature, sweet and woody...like it...

Sweet but well balanced rum.Full body with fruity and a bit smoke aroma Not my favorite one but must have one.

The smell is a bit sharp to the nose, a good afterburn. Some oaky, vanille, caramel hints are there. I tried this neat and doesnt wooow's me but BUT, if you put 1 icecube in it all the flaouvers symbiose together, smooth and it starts a party in the glass. A big + to the flavours and sharpness

I'm fairly New to the World of rum, but this rum sparked my passion.
Very smooth and round flavor, pretty sweet with a hint of wallnut flavor, all around very fruity and enjoyable rum.
Perfect for sipping in good Company or alone doesnt matter.
I've never tried it mixed tho, but I would guess that would taste great as well.

If I could drink rum every day, I would drink something like this. Very affordable, wellbalanced with some citrus flavors, not as much burn as you get in the 15 year El Dorado. Really nice.

This rum is one of my favorite kind. Smooth but still with alcohol tail as a symbol of that is not designed for sissies...
